Are you visiting Happy Valley-Goose Bay and interested in walking tours? You’re in luck–Them Days is offering story walks this summer!
We will be conducting a walking tour around Happy Valley to introduce visitors to the early days of Valley life. The tour is about three kilometres in total, along roadways and dirt paths. Once a week, we offer a tour where we will meet an experienced storyteller along the way, who will recount their experiences in the early days of Happy Valley.
If you have a full group and will be in town for a day not listed above and would like to book an Elder Experience tour, please call the office. We may be able to arrange an additional tour.
Tour dates may be affected by inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. Our maximum number of sightseers is seven adults plus children. If a tour is not booked by 12 noon the day of the tour, the tour will not go ahead. (If tour minimums are met, late sign-ups are welcome, but you risk not getting in the tour group if the maximum is met.)
