In 1918 the flu number was high and epidemics those times Inuit had it with the outside world as part of expositions.  Beata Daniel was born in Okak but was in  Hopedale when Spanish flu happened. John, his father and his brother went hunting in a row boat. The Governor’s time is up and he’s gone home and all the servants. Ginny Ryan wrote a poem called Tribute to Mud Lake. Hudson Bay Company arrived Cartwright, having sailed Liverpool, England of June 20th.
