Them Days Vol. 21 No. 3 – 1996

The trade of Esquimaux Bay. The trade of Labrador Coast is divided into branches. Mr. Harry Martin was the first recipient of the Caring for the Earth Award. Tommy Palliser was the son of Mark Palliser. Florence Goudie married Cyril Michelin on January 24, 1946. My Home By The Sea is a poem by Doug Bradley. Fellers used to fish the berths says Joseph Ward. Grandmother’s Lament is a poem by Viann Pardy. Hunt and Henley owned Hunt’s River in Big Bay. In Labrador there’s always a place to seal hunt.  There’s a big difference now today than before to go seal fishery. The Learning family in this province is now decended from one man James Edward.
