Vol.33 No.3

$3.00

In the fall, leaves are changing, berries are ripening and everybody is busy. No notes in our last issue so I have many stories in this issue. When Silpa Edmunds was small her mom used to make dolls. In 1963 it was Hannie (Hettasch) Fitzgerald’s first nursing training. Gordon Acreman, is the oldest in Mary’s Harbour the only one from the beginning. John Blake used to have canoe with little groceries in it. The Americans came to Fox Harbour to build a radar site. Hal Pynn was in Churchill Falls when it was just a construction site. Maxine Boyde Bourden left her home in 1967. Dr. Grenfell had a letter from Jim Ford in August, 1923. The U.S coast guard always had numerous responsibilities. Jack Beachamp Mutton got all his clothes dried, and slept in wet clothes and sleeping bag last night.
