Veterans of the North a book of pictures and stories of veterans from the Great Northern Peninsula and coastal Labrador who fought in World War I, World War II, the Korean and Gulf Wars. As you turn the pages, you will wonder who these young men and women were. When the alarm sounded that the world was at war, they did not hesitate. The left their fishing boats, their farm machinery, their mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, sweethearts and friends.
