Died:
Mr. Henry Greenland, Coley's Point, received a letter from Cartwright, Labrador, some time ago,
informing him that SAMUEL MESHER, while going up Paradise River for wood was drowned.
Friends of the deceased found the boat but not the body. He was married and leaves a wife,
formerly Miss LEWIS, Lower Island Cove, to mourn her loss. Mr. MESHER was a Naval Reserve man.
