About

Our Mission Statement

Them Days Incorporated is dedicated to keeping the history of Labrador alive by documenting and preserving the “old ways and early days” of Labrador.  Them Days was established to record, document, research and publish the oral, visual and written history of Labrador. Them Days Inc. does this by collection and maintenance of archival materials, publishing a quarterly magazine, facilitating special projects of research, translation, consultation, and production of other publications on matters relating to Labrador history and culture.

Them Days Incorporated is a registered charity (#119244796RR0001) located in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador.  We publish a quarterly oral history magazine focussed on Labrador, and maintain an archive of Labrador-related material.  We also hold events celebrating Labrador history and work in conjunction with local seniors’ groups.  Them Days operates on grants, donations from supporters, and revenues generated from archival fees and sales of our magazines and related products.

Our office is open to the public, and we welcome visitors to come in and take a look at the magazine or do research in the archive.  We are open from 8:30 – 4:30 Monday through Friday (closed for lunch hour from 12-1).  We are located at 3 Courte Maunche Street, across the street from Notre Dame Agencies, just around the corner from the Station B post office and the Labrador Friendship Centre.
