New Year’s came in on a cold a day, just enough to put your stoves and furnace on. Fond Are The Memories is a poem by Gerald Pye. Mark Blake had hardships, but got through them after him and John got trapping’. Abia Millik came into H. M. Budgell’s office following a winter storm. Clara Voisey thought of her family through Christmas, the ones that have gone. Tribute to Wabush is a poem by Ron Harvey. A person is like magical people, we encounter them on their outer shield. Myrtle (nee Fequet) & Graeme Beare were married at Cartwright, Labrador on October 15, 1932. Remembrance Day reminds Robert King of his Uncle Charles Mesher. Robert King’s mom’s,  mom and dad was Ambrose and Mary Ann Mesher, she was born on June 13th, 1896 at Rigolet. Alice Andersen  remembers people probably getting whales on the boat. Leonard Budgell remembers in Hebron if he knows if John Piercy in 1944.
