Son of Henry Brown, Separation Point and Red Bay, Labrador.

His RNR service record states his place of birth as "Salvage Bay", Labrador. This was probably the result of a mis-hearing by the recruiting officer. The p.o.b. is Sandwich Bay. They lived at Separation Point prior to the family moving to Red Bay.
