In December 1912, Dr. Wilfred Grenfell is getting ready for the winter season in Northern Newfoundland and southern Labrador. Jimmy Burdett says Billy Parr was in the boat getting heads, cod heads for the dogs. William Larkham says at a young age, by the time a woke up, everybody would be gone put to check the cod traps. Cleidus Earle started fishing when he was 10 or 11 years old. Rodney Barney was fishing since he was 15 years old.
